According to the Zanzibar Annual Tourism Report 2024, the island welcomed a record 736,755 visitors in 2024, a 15.4% increase from the previous year, with 71.6% of arrivals from Europe, particularly Italy and Germany. April 2025 saw a 28.1% surge in international arrivals compared to April 2024, signaling strong momentum despite a seasonal dip from March’s peak season.
